Are you interested in studying the business field? If so, the Bigelow-Reed House might be the perfect place for you!
Located right in the heart of The Hill, the Bigelow-Reed House was renovated in 2010 and is specially designed for students who want to study within the field of business. This includes business administration, economics, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and international business.
The house offers many features including a common area, a full kitchen for cooking, and parking right by the building. Every room has air conditioning and there are bathrooms in each room along with the basement. Plus, there's a teleconferencing room, and you can do your laundry with the washers and dryers provided. Something important to note is that there is only elevator access from the basement to the first floor.
You can choose from three different living options at the Bigelow-Reed House. There are single rooms, shared rooms with one roommate, or even a suite with three rooms shared by five people, all using one bathroom.
Christian Begg, a former resident, enjoyed living at Bigelow-Reed.
“I applied for the house because of the parking situation and the air conditioning is nice too,” said Begg.
He also liked the full kitchen and the study areas. Begg’s only negative experience was having to share a bathroom with four other roommates.
“At least there are two bathrooms in the basement,” he said.
Overall, Begg found Bigelow-Reed to be a better choice than the regular dorms because it has a smaller, more business-focused community. He encourages freshmen who are interested in business to consider applying.
If you are a business student and aren’t enjoying dorm life, or just want to try something new, consider applying for the Bigelow-Reed House.
