Ohio Wesleyan University is preparing for their annual Career and Summer Internship fair, which is expected to be one of the largest in recent years, according to Allyson Amstutz, Career Connection Post-Grad Intern. The fair will begin on February 29,2024 from 12:00-2:00 PM in the Benes Room of the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center.

This year, the fair is expected to draw a record number of participants, with over 70 organizations from various sectors, including business, technology, healthcare, non-profit, and government.

This diverse representation offers students a wide range of opportunities to explore, from summer internships to full-time employment, providing a platform to network and initiate their career paths.

Ohio Wesleyan encourages all students to attend, regardless of year, as it hopes to provide invaluable learning opportunities to all grade levels.

Underclassmen can explore various career options and understand the skills and qualifications needed in different industries, while juniors and seniors get a chance to secure internships and job offers, making meaningful connections that could shape their professional futures.

The Career and Summer Internship Fair is also an opportunity for employers to discover the talent and potential of OWU students. It allows them to connect with a pool of enthusiastic, and skilled individuals ready to bring fresh perspectives to their organizations and to the workplace.

Preparation for the fair is in full swing, with Career Services offering resume reviews and mock interviews to help students put their best foot forward. Students are advised to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes.
